Mosaic Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Associate to become an integral member of our consulting team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and self-driven individual who can work effectively with diverse clients interested in building their organizational capacity to advance health equity. The Senior Program Associate will thrive in a fast-paced environment that includes project management, technical assistance, and collaborating with multiple clients. This is a full-time hybrid position that will require two days per week in the Mosaic Group office in Towson, Maryland.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in public health, public administration, business administration or other related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Responsibilities:
Program Support and Coordination
- Contribute to the planning, development, and execution of consulting projects. Tasks may include conducting secondary research, developing logic models, preparing focus group guides and surveys, and using data to inform project design and processes.
- Support project management efforts by tracking and monitoring multiple high-profile project timelines to ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Coordinate client meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas, taking detailed notes, and drafting meeting summaries to facilitate effective communication and project progression.
Technical Assistance
- Contribute to the development of community health needs assessments, including identifying key data sources, leading the analysis and reporting of quantitative and qualitative data, and guiding clients in interpreting assessment findings to prioritize key health issues within their communities.
- Assist in the development of actionable, evidence-based strategies that align with community needs and client goals.
- Develop training materials and resources to support client education and capacity building.
- Organize and co-facilitate training sessions, webinars, and other training events to enhance client understanding and engagement.
- Evaluate client needs and develop practical strategies to address these needs.
Data Management and Analysis
- Collect, manage, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to support the objectives and outcomes of consulting projects.
- Assist in designing and developing robust data collection tools and methodologies that align with project goals.
- Maintain and update project databases, ensuring high levels of data accuracy and integrity.
- Prepare data summaries, visualizations, and reports to support client presentations and internal decision-making processes.
Research and Writing
- Conduct literature reviews and background research to provide context and support for project development and execution.
- Assist in drafting reports, case studies, and other documents that communicate project findings and recommendations.
- Contribute to the preparation of funding proposals and grant applications by conducting thorough research and compiling necessary information.

- Ability to write clearly and succinctly for a variety of audiences and to synthesize and assess large amounts of information from different sources.
- Strong project and time management skills, good attention to detail, ability to take initiative, and strong organizational skills including the ability to organize and track project deliverables.
- Responsive to client requests for information and assistance. Flexibility with timelines that ebb and flow based on client needs.
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision, to work collaboratively with other staff members, and to stay focused while handling multiple assignments and priorities.
